Schoolboys Scott (Richard Mason) and Sid (Tom Blyth) are isolated, underachieving and a little lost when Scott trades to Sid’s school as a high schooler. Sid is the pulled back, lopsided offspring of a substantial consumer mother and truant father, who basically needs to lock in, beat his exams and escape into his own life. Scott, in the meantime, is a detested develop adolescent who’s been expelled from various schools, rootless and uncontainable. Neither gets much help from their people or teachers, yet as their cooperation prospers they find something in each other that enables them to see a more noteworthy target
